Found myself as one already wrote...laughing or weeping or both at the same time throughout. We had foster children in our home when I was a child. As an adult, a few friends have opened their homes for foster to possible adoption, eventually to drop from the program. One recent circumstance was of a friend's sister, who after taking in an older child could not handle the "rejection" purported from him. I knew this child as well, that he had come from similar biological parental circumstances portrayed in this film. He is in a safe place at this time in another setting. The film did have language I was not preferring, and it is NOT a family film as others so felt. I do however feel this should be one to view and perhaps as an assignment for those thinking of going into the program portrayed.
