I have read quite a number of her books and this was, by far, the worst one. I couldn't even get through it. I kept wanting to like the characters but the heroine was so lost in her "research and studies", that she couldn't be bothered with her household or realize when people were taking advantage of her. She let the tutor deal with all of those pesky details.

Even the dialogue, which I'm sure was supposed to be romantic, just came across as cringe-worthy.

Fun like the rest of her books in this mode--enjoyed all of them and want more.
