Betty Jane Douville was my given name. I was born in Alpena, MIch. My parents' names were Emma and Louis Douville. I don't know why they called me Betty. I've heard my mother tell the story, but i don't know why. It wasn't Elizabeth, it was Betty.(First paragraph taken from book).
