A Dog's Way Home will not disappoint! You'll experience an emotional roller-coaster but it's soooo worth the ride! I highly recommend this movie!! Grab the popcorn and the tissues & enjoy!

A nice enough movie with some very subtle and subversive messages therein. I suppose this might be considered a family movie by today's standards. My son enjoyed it, so that means it wasn't too bad, right?

A great movie for the family to watch, sad, funny and heartwarming. The dog starring in this movie is appealing. What is especially worth watching is the bonus after the feature detailing the story of the production.

I love Bella an adorable pup who is a stray and she is rescued by a young man named Luke. This heartwarming story begins with Bella's journey to "GO HOME" and she meets big cat. Enjoy!

As a family movie, we'd give it 4 stars; for adults maybe a 3-and- a-half, as it's better than average. Might not be suitable for very young kids as a couple scenes might be a tad scary (use judgement based on the particular kids). The CGI was choppy in some scenes, but overall convincing enough for kids.
If you read the book you'll probably want to see this if, for nothing else, to see how they did the "big kitten" scenes. Much of the book was left out but the gist and spirit of it was still there. The acting was adequate and the dog(s) were great.

Disappointing. Contrived. I'm not sure this is a movie little kids should see. While some of the scenes are CGI, they will seem very real and terrifying for most children.

Now THIS is a film to watch to relax you from the news. Grateful for the CG artists in the workmanship they gave to this … looked pretty real. Thought it was rather novel that Denver's skyline and Golden's main street banner was included in this.

My husband and I liked this one very much, and recommend a family night with popcorn for ya'll who have not seen it...

The voice really got on my nerves after half an hour, cute voice for a puppy but tiring as an adult dog. Great family movie--perfect for getting 8-year-old girls to cry--very 1960s Wonderful World of Disney type movie.

I'm not really into dogs, however, I liked the cinematography, in particular the wildlife and natural shots of the movie, the music used in some of the scenes, as well as some attention-grabbing sequences. Having watched Haichi: A Dog's Tale (2009), starring Richard Gere, and knowing there are true stories that are out there, I would recommend that one if you are into these types of movies if you want something more "adult". The voice-over for the dog made the movie feel like it's for young kids.

Cute film with many CGI animals. The repetitive 'mama cat' concept was adorable.
