The scientific-minded Delia has just been offered the opportunity of a life time... all of time. When her favourite uncle is re-introduced to her as the founder of Earth's time museum, he tells her that she can apply to become an intern, but she must win the position by competing against other hopefuls. With their useful time-bender wrist bands, the group faces three trials in three different time periods. The trials themselves are straightforward enough, and only become complicated because of the involvement of the mysterious Earl Grey, who hands Delia a strange rock. As they travel and face trouble, this smart young lady, and the others in the group, must decide what is more important, the competition or their burgeoning friendship. The Time Museum is the first graphic novel in this fun, adventure story with its goofy, curvy-lined character designs. It stresses the importance of teamwork, and of recognizing the various types of strengths there are (physical, mental, social, and emotional), in order to accomplish a goal, and for that reason alone, it is worth handing to any child.
