New parents Mac and Kelly are living the American Dream, complete with a baby girl and a new home in the suburbs. Still, they want to believe that they are still cool, so when they discover that their new next-door neighbors are dozens of fraternity brothers-led by charismatic Teddy-they try to play along. But when the parties grow increasingly more epic, both sides begin to fend for their turf. The sabotage escalates into extreme one-upmanship, beginning an epic Greek war for the ages.
"When Rogen and Efron face off against each other, you feel that you're looking at two characters with everything on the line. It's funnier because it's more real."--San Francisco Chronicle.
"You expect hardcore hilarity from Neighbors, and you get it. It's the nuance that sneaks up on you."--Rolling Stone.
"It's a frat-house flick with more on its mind than beer, bongs, and beer bongs. It's also a razor-sharp commentary on desperately trying to remain carefree after the burdens of adulthood have taken over."--Entertainment Weekly.

This movie is like a partying movie and it all starts when a fraternity moves into a nice and calm suburban neighborhood. Every night they party and have huge ragers which really seems to bother Mac and Kelly and their daughter Stella. So then they think of a plan to get rid of them and do everything possible so that they get caught so there isn’t any more disturbances. I really liked this movie, Seth Rogen is a really funny actor all together so having him to this movie added a special type of atmosphere and character. I like how it puts a funny twist on how some quiet neighbourhood with a fraternity on it may feel and want to react. Overall the movie was really solid and I enjoyed it wholeheartedly. I would rate this movie 4.5 out of 5.

Great devoted parents have to defend neighborhood and peace & quiet for child ( and parents- tired parents = neglected baby, right?) against "nothing to lose" frat boys. Loved that fun with baby and pros & cons of parenthood are reasoned out and relished. Sweet movie. Nice balance of home (peace) vs. PARTY!

A very funny low-brow comedy. Probably Rogen's best film.

Frat boy mentality means lots of crudity, so much so that the movie become boring. Not much plot; as it escalates, you can figure out what will happen.

I haven't seen the sequel yet, but this movie was actually better than I expected. For some mindless and juvenile entertainment, it was good and fairly funny. I think the movies Nicholas Stoller directed previously (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get Him to the Greek and The Five-Year Engagement) were way too long. I appreciated that the runtime for Neighbors is closer to 90 minutes than 2 hours. If you have disliked Seth Rogen's other movies, you probably won't like this one either. Neighbors is rated R for pervasive language, strong crude and sexual content, graphic nudity, and drug use throughout.

I'm not a huge comedy fan, but "Neighbors" had me guffawing quite often. Great dynamics and chemistry between all the characters.

A fun revenge film, I was rooting for Mac and Kelly to take out the devious frat brothers next door, which is just what the trailers promised me. I got what I expected and enjoyed it, so I'd recommend it.

Other: Keeping in mind this is meant as a comedy, the parents leave the home twice to party with the frat next door, leaving their baby alone because they have a remote baby monitor with them. This would be considered child endangerment.

Sexual Content: So broadly sketched as to be boring.
